Copper ore is divided into sulfide ore (oxidation rate less than 10%), oxidized ore (oxidation rate greater than 30%) and mixed ore (oxidation rate 10%-30%) According to the different oxidation rates. the cooer ore beneficiation method is mainly with flotation method. and some with gravity method. In general, copper sulfide ore and easy-t-select mixed copper ore are treated by flotation. For difficult-to-select mixed copper ore and difficult-to-select copper oxide ore, use hydrometallurgy or flotation and hydrometallurgy combined methods.

The copper ore beneficiation process mainly includes several key links such as crushing, grinding, screening, flotation and magnetic separation.
1.The raw ore is crushed coarsely and finely by jaw crusher and cone crusher to crush the ore to a particle size suitable for grinding.
2.The ore is ground by ball mill and rod mill to dissociate the copper mineral monomers in the ore.
3.The grinding products are screened by vibrating screen and tailings dry screen to obtain the appropriate particle size.
4.The flotation machine and flotation column are used to float the copper sulfide ore and the copper oxide ore to separate the copper concentrate.
5.The tailings are magnetically separated by magnetic separation equipment to recover the magnetic minerals.
The mined copper ore is initially crushed by the jaw crusher, and after being crushed to a reasonable fineness, it is uniformly fed into the wet ball mill by the elevator and the miner, and the ore is crushed and ground by the wet ball mill. The fine copper ore ground by the ball mill enters the next process: classification. The spiral classifier cleans and classifies the copper mixture by virtue of the principle that the specific gravity of the solid particles is different and the precipitation rate in the liquid is different. The graded copper ore enters the flotation machine for roughing, sweeping and cleaning operation, and the selected wet concentrate is shrunk by the concentrator and dried by the dryer to obtain copper fine powder.
